My point - there will always be persecutors, jews don't have to want them or need them, it is foolish to ponder what the world would be like without them because "human beings can be miserable people." There will always be hatred, and envy and victimhood. Life is difficult - and there are a lot of people who can't get through life without blaming someone else for their problems. Wish it away or wish for more of it - does nothing. What is worth pondering is what response one will have to antisemetic speech - that says more about a person or group than their lamenting the obvious.
