Giv. Sebelius was the one who vetoed a bill a while back that would have forced abortion clinics to asdhere to minimal standards of safety and cleanliness. This wouldn’t surprise me one bit. The DNC would have probably cut the purse strings if she hadn’t said what she did.

This seems a bit ridiculous. It is just hard to believe that Howard Dean has that kind of influence over a Governor that he could “order” her to do that. It just isn’t the way the party Chair works with a Governor. Sebilis can’t be forced to do this, she is head of the Democratic Governor’s Assoc.
She doesn’t answer to Howard Dean. I guess we will see if this goes somewhere, but I just don’t believe it happened.
