David was not Punished. I go to oakridge and i saw all of this. He was given the choice to go home or take the sign saying "It's great to be straight off". All of the protesters were given the same choices with their signs.

If the aclu would mind their own business and not worry about people, church and government this United States would be a better place to raise our kids the way they are supposed to be raised, Kids are supposed to learn about God and the ways of the world without a bunch of IDIOTS like the aclu trying to raise our kids on their beliefs and condemning our ways. Go back and get under that rock that you evidently live under and leave the American people alone and let them think for their selves. I seem to have been raised ok and the aclu surely wasn't around when I came up, a strong discipline never hurt me at school or at home. Go find a life and leave ours alone..

Assuming the facts of the case are as stated, and that no crucial
information is being judiciously overlooked, the school was in the wrong
and should get their derrieres legally handed to them on a platter. What will
also be judiciously overlooked (and/or scornfully disbelieved) is
that most liberal free-speech advocates will agree with me.

Earlier this week I wrote about a Federal Judge which upheld censorship in a public school. The decision came in response to a student who wished to protest the “Day of Silence” which encourages students to show visible support for homosex...
