Um, I donâ€™t suppose it matters to anyone here that this program
was NOT compulsory

What matters to me is that the schools are banning parents from and hiding this activity from parents. If they think there is nothing wrong with it, then why the stealth and secrecy and prohibitions from attending?

The schools are laying claim to what isn’t theirs, our children.

Their social and religious instruction belongs to the parents.

Now you show me, from the article, where it states that it was or wasn’t “compulsory”.

targeted as it was only towards students who
might be struggling with their sexuality.

And show me where is states that. It doesn’t state anywhere in the article that it was held for “gay” students or for students that weren’t sure.

Parents of my “persuasion” consider the subject to be their responsibility and under their control.

There is nothing in the constitution that gives government authority over the educational system let alone over the people’s children.

So no…it doesn’t “hold water”!

Um, I don’t suppose it matters to anyone here that this program

might be struggling with their sexuality. The fact that parents
of your persuasion would react in this manner, forcing the kids
to retreat further into an unhealthy closet–of course that doesn’t
hold any water to for you.

That principal is the one who should be expelled for the rest of the school year or longer, this fool should have no business barring parents from objecting.

And a happy St. Patrick's Day weekend to all! It's a beautiful Sunday, where that pesky global warming has Miami at a pleasant 56 degrees at 9:15am. Today's high in Raleigh should be in the mid 50's. Normal is 63. Snicker.
