The comment was stupid, unnecessary and has NO place in reasoned discussion. Even if it was to make a more poignant statement, what she said was as ill-advised as the faux outrage was predictable. It's just so ironic that the Left pretends to be so horrified by a descriptive they are very comfortable using with what is obvious frequency by "respected" voices on their side. You'd think someone drew a cartoon making fun of Darwin the way the Left is burning up the airwaves with bloody-murder shrieks of indignation. You’re dead-on Neil.

It was interesting to see the clip from earlier in her speech where she made a benign/friendly comment about gays and discrimination. It lends credibility to her claim that she wasn't attacking gays but the hopeless Policital Correctness that exists.
