Sorry, there, Jimbo, was just passing through and choked on some hypocrisy.
What, exactly, might a ref be? ‘fraid that one’s new on me. If you do
deem to explain, please speak up; one of my neighbors is giving a sermon
on the superiority of christian treatment of women over that of muslims
and the other is holding a witch burning; between the two there’s a fair
bit of noise.

I think he meant exactly what he said. You don’t belong here, go away. All Refs are subject to taunts. They know this going in, and if they are going to require an apology when they are taunted, then they need to go away because they do not belong there. Get with the game or find something else to do.

I could not agree with you more, good sir. It is indeed about time that we accept that
different people are good at different things; why, how many times have I heard a
preacher or evangelical making some absurd statement (such as, say, that a small
conglomeration of parasitical cells should have the same rights as a human, or that
the United States was founded with the specific intent of becoming a christian
theocracy) and found myself thinking, “Would you please go back to bothering
your big invisible man in the sky so that the grown-ups can discuss reality?” Clearly,
I’m not against Christianity; I merely accept your premise that it’s nice and easy to look
at someone’s outward characteristics and arbitrarily decide what they should be allowed to
do.
