Why I am now pro-choice

I’m not going to go into detail about all that went into bringing me around to the pro-abortion side, but will simply announce my position in clear and concise terms:

A woman should be able to obtain a safe, legal and taxpayer-funded abortion at any time during the pregnancy, for any reason and by any method she chooses. This foundational constitutional right would be inviolable, I’d say even deserves a constitutional amendment to make it settled law once and for all, as long as there is an exception for the life and the health of the baby.

Talk about giving me a heart attack on my favorite ACLU-hating site.

A perfectly good position to take. I suspect someone you know has had an abnormal pregnancy. All sorts of strange things can happen but this formulation threads right through the maze.

I think only babies that are in the womb should be aborted, unless of course the woman decides she doesn’t want the responsibility of raising something she created, then I guess outside the womb abortions would be ok too provided the woman tell the courts she doesn’t want responsibility- that should cover any objections. I guess though, if at any time during child raising the woman loses patience, then I believe she should be able to go to court and ask for euthanasia of the child, which technically would be considered abortion seeing how children that are outside the womb are ‘aborted’ This should give children enough incentive to be good and not try the patience of their parents I imagine. “taxpayer-funded”?

Why should I have to pay for someones abortion?
Why should a person who is pro-life be forced into supporting a pro-choice viewpoint?

I believe that a woman’s right to choose should end at the same time a man’s right does. You don’t want children keep your friggin legs closed!
