9th Circus Hearing Hate Speech Case – You Should Worry

The 9th Circus Court of Appeals is meeting at Stanford Law School today in a special session to hear arguments concerning the declaration of the words “natural family, marriage and family values” as hate speech. That’s right. Some pinheads on the left coast want the words “natural family, marriage and family values” declared hate speech.

From WND:

A special session of the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals is being held today at the Stanford University Law School where lawyers are arguing whether the words “natural family, marriage and family values” constitute “hate speech” that could intimidate city of Oakland workers.

The words were used by two city employees who wanted to launch a group of people who shared their interests and posted a notice on a city bulletin board after a series of notices from homosexual activists were delivered to them via the city’s e-mail system, bulletin boards and memo distribution system.

But Robert Bobb, then city manager, and Joyce Hicks, then deputy director of the Community and Economic Development Agency, ordered their notice removed, because it contained “statements of a homophobic nature” and promoted “sexual-orientation-based harassment.”

Statements of a homophobic nature?!? So advocating natural families is now going to be considered hate speech. Well then, I’ll have to change my commenting policy then huh. Well maybe not.

The 9th Circus is the most overturned district court in the nation so we can all take comfort in that fact. Knowing if they come out of their session with any lunatic rulings that the Supreme Court of the United States will reverse them.

Since when has “homophobia” been considered detrimental to the safety of the general public anyway? Not to mention that “homophobia” insinuates that there is an irrational fear of homosexuals. But that isn’t the case. There is no irrational fear – it is more accurately defined as a very rational disgust for them.

If homosexuality were natural then two men OR two women would be able to conceive a child – but they can’t can they?

My religious teachings are such as that the Church teaches that marriage is a sacrament from GOD for the purpose of raising children in the faith. It isn’t a requirement for the marriage to produce children, but couples entering marriage are supposed to be open to the possibility of children as fruit of the marriage. Since Harry and Steve cannot have a child together they then cannot be open to the possibility of children therefor they obviously cannot be married huh. That is what those pinheads in Washington (the state not the city) don’t realize in their ballot initiative that would require marriages to produce a child within 3 years of the “I do’s”. The procreation argument isn’t a requirement of the sacrament, just that the couple be open to the possibility of children.

Homosexuality is immoral on so many levels. Since sexual activity is reserved for marriage and marriage requires the couple to be open to the possibility of children, homosexual activity is therefore a sin. Declaring this fact is now in danger of being labeled hate speech by the 9th Circus.

Regardless of what the 9th Circus says, regardless of where I live, I will never back down from my first amendment rights to speak my mind and worship as I please. The brain dead idiots on the 9th WILL NOT silence me.
