They want to claim that cows flatulence adds 20% to the green house effect but fail to note prior to the cows were vast herds of buffalo,elk and deer. They speculate more then they produce reliable data. They have no way of knowing the state of the ozone layer 2000 years ago nor can they tell us what the exact temperature was or green house effects.
