If you want to complain about the soldiers not getting enough R&R between tours or having tours that are too long I can see the argument. Otherwise the soldiers are there to complete a mission and the military leadership is there to determine how they can best do that. No Senator that I know of is part of that leadership, no matter how much they pretend to be.
