While CAIR Gloats, Christians Suffer

I wrote about the the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) and its mission to get a web site they claim is hate filled shut down. At the time I wrote that they had been successful in shutting down the site and now they are gloating about that....

Iran is in defiance of all norms of modern civilization . In this case , the Iranian government ...and it's responsible officials are perpetrators of high crimes against humanity - MURDER !
They should be tagged as criminals on a par with the Saddam Hussain cabal....Atrocities of this pernicious magnitude must be brought to justice .

"The blogosphere needs to call out, immediately, for the Bush administration and other freedom-promoting governments around the world to stand up and push Iran to release these prisoners. " Jimmy

I feel great sadness that anyone is treated this way but I question wisdom of allowing the interference of the International community.

The International community will take such permission as a blank check to push their political agenda. The United Nations is well known to do this. Legalized genocide through abortion is one item they seem to push unofficially.

The U.S. or others can offer Iran a deal where Iran exiles these individuals instead of executing them and the U.S. takes them in. The question is what concessions are you willing to make to Iran if that deal is to go through.

It is not the international communities freedom of speech I am concerned about but when they choose to back up that freedom with bribes or force.

Iranian Christian Converts Reported Arrested

This would be an excellent time for all civilized persons, including moderate Muslims, to express their outrage at this barbaric act of the Iranian government.

I suppose the ‘free speech’ Ahmadinejad says they have only applies to muslims following Sharia Law.

Well, there is a difference between freedom of speech and freedom of religion. It's possible (I'm not saying it's likely) that he would have tolerated speech in favor of Christianity, but not the actual practice of it.

It’s really a downer to see what the natural progression of mixing religion into law, order and politics is, eh?

jimmy,
That statement is not only ignorant, but has nothing to do with the post.

It’d be fantastic if we could look at stupid behaviour like this and maybe try to learn something from it? Maybe?

Considering your statement, I would say that there is a slight chance that you could pull it off...if you work at it!
