Foley, A Month Too Late
Posted on December 9, 2006
Everyone, including the media, knew that Foley was simply a dirty old man and no crime had occurred. Just as ABC broke the political hit piece, they now lead with “ABC Exclusive: No Prosecution Likely for Foley.”
In the same manner, Brian Ross also leads with the disclosure that Democrats knew of this situation last year, “Democratic Leadership Knew About Foley E-mails.”
Would you like the names and the details of how these e mails were passed around amongst Democrat operatives in 2005? Go to page 44-46 of the FULL REPORT.
“Cliff Notes Version
Danielle Savoy, aid to Congressman Alexander
shared with
Kelley Halliwell, friend of Savoy, worked as a lobbyist
shared with
Justin Field, boyfriend of Halliwell, employee House Democratic Caucus
shared with
Matt Miller, friend of Field, Communications Director Democratic Caucus, ** he gave to the media, and acknowledges that he made a decision to NOT give the material to the Ethics Committee in 2005.
I sincerely hope that the Page in question gets a damn good lawyer and takes these people into court suing them into bankruptcy and otherwise ruining their lives. The Page specifically requested that those e mails NOT be shared.

Wait just a minute- what ever happened to Nancy Pelosi’s statements about how it’s “all about the kids- protecting the children”? About how immoral it was, and how the culture of corruption was endangering children’s lives?
Now that the damage has been done the left simply throws away their fauex pau moral arguments?
I get so sick of the left’s blatant fake outrage over issues that are nothing but issues to advance their political careers! http://sacredscoop.com
The Right does the same thing. That’s the nature of politics in a plurality electoral system. With the average turnout so low, it’s more cost effective to mobilize your base by demonizing your opponent than to try to win over the centrists.
I wonder how long these bitter right-wingers will continue pretending that 1. Foley wasn’t a Republican, 2. Foley wasn’t known among other Republicans to be an e-stalker of teenage boys, and 3. Foley didn’t cost the Repubs the midterm elections.
For a blog that likes to complain about liberal whining, you all sound like a bunch of little girls sometimes.
