Alcee Hastings, Message To Rado Hosts And Callers
Since we know that this site has been read by Rush Limbaugh, here goes. Callers to both Rush and Hannity do not understand why Alcee Hastings has a “security clearance. The only reason he has a clearance is that he “promised” to not disclose. He never ever passed a security investigation:
Meanwhile, members of congress are not subject to any type of background check. They are merely asked to promise not to reveal any of the nation’s secrets. That’s it. According to a seasoned professional, Winslow Wheeler, with 31 years experience on Capitol Hill, members of Congress are granted security clearance simply by being elected. Winslow worked for the Senate Budget Committee for six years as a security official. He recently published a book about Congress and national security.
Further, it is now coming out that Hastings has severe debt issues:
And his latest disclosure forms list $2 million to $7 million in liabilities (mostly for legal fees).
Please help get the word out. Further, Congress needs to address this automatic granting of clearance in a bi-partisan manner.
