Election Day!
Everyone is posting their predictions, so I guess I am obligated. My gut tells me that this won’t be the big blowout the DemMedia Complex has been banking on. GOP holds Senate easily. The House comes out as a one or two seat majority either way.
However, the big story tomorrow will be all about how the GOP bucked Armageddon…and the Dark Forces that lent a bony-fingered hand to the conspiracy…it’s already being set up today.
Here is the real conspiracy. The media and the pollsters have been purposely misrepresenting the true electoral picture for months now. Since they’ve been pounding away on the “It’s ‘94 for the Democrats” theme, they will act as though their in-the-knowedness couldn’t not possibly have been wildly off. We will be hearing about the “thousands of calls to 888-Demvote” reporting long waits, disenfranchisement, “irregularities,” no fresh coffee available at the polls, Republicans actually being on the ballot (oh, the horror), which intimidated people who REALLY wanted to vote for Democrats, roadblocks, cloudy skies, polls closing, er, when polls are supposed to close, atheists were forced to vote in *gasp* a church, which, of course, is a violation of the inviolable “Wall of Separation,” the ridiculous requirement that one must prove his identity and of course, those GOP voting machines… Meanwhile the real conspiracy is as simple as agenda polling and agenda journalism designed to best decieve America into producing the result desired by the DemMedia Complex.
The Institutionalizable Left is already making excuses for defeat. See über-goober Greg Palast’s pre-postmortem: HOW THEY STOLE THE MID-TERM ELECTION
At Salon…anyone who votes for a Republican is an undead cannibal and as any Salon reader knows, “average” Americans are contemptible vermin, so we will be at the mercy of the Flesh-eater Voters: Will the real America please stand up?
USA Today: Voting machine problems bedevil multiple states
MSNBC: FBI looking into possible Va. voter intimidation (Webb campaign making the charges)
WaPo: An Ohio woman, who did not leave her name, called The Washington Post in tears yesterday
AP: Election chief concerned about voter confusion (SecState Carnahan “raises concerns”)
New York Times: Democratic officials say they fear the saturation calling is just a tactic to irritate voters and discourage them from going to the polls.
This is only a sampling. Watch what happens if the GOP holds on.
