When will Latin America Learn? Ortega Poised for Return to Power.
Time after time, Latin American nations choose Leftist dictators. How many disasters do these aristo-thugs have to be reposnsible for before the people of Latin America stop the practice of inviting enemies of freedom to step on thier necks?
From the AP: Daniel Ortega Wins Nicaragua Presidency:
Early results from Sunday’s presidential election gave the Sandinista leader a strong lead over his four rivals. His victory, if confirmed by final results, would expand the club of leftist Latin rulers led by Venezuela’s Hugo Chavez, who has tried to help his ally by shipping cheap oil to the energy-starved nation.
Yeah, that’s right Hugo Chavez backed this “campaign.” Chavez is an open ally of both Iran and North Korea and is building a block of Marxist dictatorships on the model of Castro’s Cuba. The torturous thing about it is that these countries are VOTING these death squad into leadership! Chavez, Lula and Evo Morales…and now Ortega have been ELECTED! As if border security weren’t already an issue of urgency, the complete collapse of Latin America is not a question of “IF,” but “HOW SOON?” If we think we are being invaded now… (Oh yeah…we might want to look at our northern border too as radical Islamists are increasingly looking to open-gates Canada as a place to settle and plot.)
