STACLU has done a remarkable public service in dissecting the latest Newsweek poll. Now, I'm going from memory here, but I think it broke down like this...

Paul Yanna,

I understand elections and if things worked out the way you say we would be electing the same person in every distinct for the House and in every state for the Senate. It does not work that way so I stick by what I stated earlier. You need to refresh yourself on how statistics are properly applied.

Great anaylsis.

When I think of polls, I think of the 2004 exit polls during the Presidential election. You remember the ones..... 75% of exiting voters said they voted for Kerry. Turns out it was pure rubbish and the opposite was true.

	DON'T TRUST THE POLLS.

I'll have to pull the segment from my I-pod when I download Rush's show today.

Great job and keep up the good work!

[...] Stop The ACLU has a really interesting break down of a recent Newsweek poll that, in reality, shows the potential for Republicans maintaining control of both houses of Congress. It must be a decent analysis since Rush Limbaugh referred to it this morning during his show! I still believe the GOP will suffer a net loss of seats, but if they are able to maintain control of the House and the Senate, it will be a major blow to the anti-war, leftwingnut floor of the Democrat household.
