I grew up in music. My parents had a Gospel quartet, my brother had a fairly successful country band, and I've sang and played guitar in several rock bands...original and cover. Glad you enjoyed it Carl.

Ahhh...music. That is probably one of my biggest passions ever since I was a little kid. I became a radio DJ back in the mid 70's when I was a mere 13 years old. And due to many factors my tastes in music grew quite eclectic. I started collecting vinyl lp's and 45's back then (and a few older 78's to boot) and eventually amassed a collection of over 5000 albums. I started getting as many CD versions of those albums starting in the 90's and got rid of many of the old lp's (the non-collectable ones that is). Now I estimate my CD collection is close to around 2000 covering a whole hosts of different genres. I've managed to find something to like in every genre except two: death metal and gangsta rap (as well a subsequent variations and sub-genres of the two). I even have an area of my personal website listing most of the artists I listen to. You can visit that area at http://www.nettally.com/saints/music.html in case anyone's interested. I look forward to future discussions of music on Stop The ACLU.
