We Need Senate Hearings On (Dropping) Gas Prices NOW

John McCain when gas prices go up:

In response to escalating gas prices in Arizona and California, U.S. Senator John McCain (R-AZ) yesterday sent a letter to the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) asking the Agency to investigate concerns raised by San Diego Mayor Susan Golding on the dramatic increase of gas prices in the West.

“I share Mayor Golding’s concerns about skyrocketing prices,” wrote McCain, who noted that gas prices in Arizona have increased nearly 50 cents since February.

“Most consumers, especially those in western states like Arizona and California, are completely dependent upon their cars. For many people there is little to no alternative to paying what appear to be exorbitant prices for gasoline.”

We need Senate Hearings now to find out why gas prices are dropping. If we can “determine” why they are dropping we can learn what causes them to rise.

I urge everyone to contact Senator McCain today along with his fellow travelers.

I figure that certain people in the oil industry favor the Republican Party. Al Qaeda seems to like them to with their video releases and threats. Al Qaeda is probably using the Republican Party action to create controversy in the Middle East and therefore gain recruitments. Iran may be one of them behind the lower oil prices.
