9/11 Tribute: James Robert Ostrowski
Posted on September 10, 2006

While all of America was attacked by evil on September 11th and everyone was personally affected, the impact of the tragedy is ingrained in the memories of the families who lost their loved ones that were inside the towers. It is difficult to imagine the emotions and heartbreak of those so personally impacted by the tragedy. Everyday people were transformed on that day into heroes and martyrs. We are honored today to being able to pay tribute to one of those martyrs.
A beautiful project, 2996, has put together a way that the blogosphere can get personal and tribute to the individuals that died that day. While evil had a temporary victory on September 11th, America was awakened and the memories of our fellow Americans that died on that day will never be forgotten.
I am honoring James Robert Ostrowski. I could find no photograph and there was not much information about him, but he was one of the many innocent fellow American whose life was taken in the tragedy 911. I was able to find a little bit about this man in what was written in his obiturary. His life was taken from him at the youthful age of 37. He, like many others was a family man and is remembered by those that knew him for his big heart. And he will always have a place in the big heart of America. He will not be forgotten.
Throughout his life, Jim’s family and many friends came first. His love touched and enriched so many lives. Jim was the beloved husband of Joanna and the adored father of their three young children, Annie, James and Olivia. He was the devoted son of Stephen V. and Beverly and the cherished brother of Stephen and Jill.
It is hard to find the words to honor this man. I did not personally know him, nor did his individual death affect me. Today is the first time I heard about him. But one thing is for sure, he was a fellow American and his life was stolen from him by evil. He was one of many that died on that day. Of course no one was affected by his untimely death as his loved ones. I can not do a tribute to him any justice like the heartfelt words of those that loved him can. Listen to some of the tributes those that knew and loved him left.

Its quiet in the house , the kids are in bed and my wife is fast asleep. Jim I miss your wisdom and friendship. We spent hours together on the beach as kids talking in the sun. O r the countless hours we worked together. Jim we would talk on the phone but we never had time to just chill. Only once that weekend we spent golfing. Brother when it gets quiet and the world is asleep I look for you because blood is blood and you knew me and I knew you. Thanks for listening to a brothers cry in the dark, I love you and will miss you Thanks Lord for giving me my brother Jimmy
