“Bush Phobia” is a Fatal Disease to Democrats

Daniel Henninger, deputy editor of The Wall Street Journal’s editorial page, writes “Bush Phobia May Prove Fatal.”
“The Blogging Caesar” at Election Projection writes “Why generic congressional polls don’t scare me:”

“Generic polls may uncover a sense of dissatisfaction with the majority party in Washington, but they do not seem, as head-to-head polls show, to indicate a willingness to kick the bums out. It’s as though the electorate has grown weary of GOP control, but doesn’t see the Democratic candidate in these closely-held GOP districts as a viable alternative.

Going forward, I’m convinced the GOP may be able to retain their majorities in both chambers of Congress, even if they continue to lag the Democrats significantly in generic congressional polls.”

When you read the detailed analysis you will come to realize that “Bush Phobia” is fatal.

I am very angry with the Bush and Republican Senators over the immigration issue and if I get a chance to vote for a non globalist cultural conservative instead of one of them then I will indeed kick the bum out. The problem of course is my Senators are Democrats and are not running for office this year. My House member is a Republican but he backed the stricter House immigration bill. This all means I won’t be able to improve the situation on the federal level this year.
