For reasons I do not understand the Left supports the terrorist. I say this because I do not believe the left is so foolish that they do not see the threat.

Your the one who is bringing everything up. I am not sure how comments on FPM got here. Don’t think that Mr. Reid was talking about it. I surely was not.

The left and the press are weak on security> NY Times and LA Times leak security information (apparently the same type of security measures the Brits used to round up the Jihadists but the left and your ACLU fights against here.) They (the two lefti newspapers of record then cry foul about the Republicans manipulating the release of the bomb plot in Britian. And, the yahoos from the left wing party put roadblocks up in America for security matters. For crying out loud, just to get an extension on the Patriot Act through took much time and red tape.

One should think that Jack Murtha, Dean, Pelosi, Clinton, Kerry, (our “Dingy” Harry) Reid, McDermott, Feingold, and other left wingers better get with the program, because if they do not, the Islamofacist Caliphate will spread to the North America, too. That aside, if you perceive the comment by OD on FPM to be serious, you think a single post from a single reader on a single website is the same thing as conspiracy theories being seriously discussed across a wide swath of “respected” leftist commentary outlets. There is no comparison.

You’re right, there is no comparison. The left just suspect Rove and company of using this terror plot for political gain which we all know is within the realm of possibility. The right advocates trashing the Constitution if they don’t retain control of Congress. What was I thinking?

What about those comments on FPM are facsistic? The POSTS and comments on Kos and others that I document in a more recent post on this site are from “trusted” Leftist websites and cannot be called anything but demented, conspiratorial and hate-America. How do you compare?

First you claimed that Democrats are soft on terror because they are critical of the war in Iraq. When I question this assumption, you said I am confused and that I am not seeing the big picture. You then state that we are in Iraq “battling Iranian Shia influence” which is strange since Saddam’s government was in no way pro-Iranian. One of the main reasons I don’t trust this administration is that they can’t seem to settle on a clear objective. First it was WMD’s, then it was promoting democracy, now it is to bring peace and stability to Iraq. As soon as one excuse falls apart, they just roll out another one. This doesn’t sound like a winning strategy.

You then dredge up a comment from Daily Kos trying to paint Democrats as conspiracy nuts. You should be careful using such a broad brush, there are nuts on both sides of the fence. You wouldn’t say that all Republicans are fasists because of these comments would you?

I can’t believe that there are people who are willing to comment in a public forum, yet when asked for an idea, just one, can’t produce. This is why I am confident for the future of this country — the intellectual heft and the vigorous idea-exchange necessary for a healthy society is on the Right side of the debate. There is much wider range of real ideas over here…if you’d like some intro reading suggestions that demonstrate this truth c-tx, I’d be happy to make some suggestions.

So you’d rather Iraq not be a ‘hotbed of foreign terrorists’, where would you prefer to be ‘a hotbed of foreign terrorists’- New York, Chicago or L.A.?

You have the ability to access open source information regarding terrorism and study. I was once like you, I once though that things were going to be OK. Don’t think that things will be hunky dori now.

If you would like to see the free world get through the difficult times ahead, you better open you eyes, ears, and mind. Gestalt works. You have to step back and look at various views.
