“it is sad that it took such a loud and overwhelming voice from their constituents to cause an about face. It is sad they didn’t have true convictions to fix this problem from the get go without such pressure. ”

That is why our government was set up with checks and balances. It is our job to keep informed and make sure our representatives are doing their job. I still think it is silly that we have micromanage them after telling them we wanted our borders secured.
