ACLU Echoes U.N.’s Human Rights Committee Call to Hold U.S. Responsible

Posted on July 28, 2006

The ACLU are touting their success in having the U.N. Human Rights Comittee criticize the U.S.
File this under “who really cares what the corrupt U.N. think?” file. Oh of course the ACLU do, they were the ones that took their little joke of a list there. It is nice to know who’s side the ACLU is on. Don’t question their patriotism.

Gateway Pundit:

** Please note- This sham group includes China, a country that sells the body organs of its political prisoners!…and Cuba… and Saudi Arabia!

What a joke!

This is NOT the same sham group – China, Cuba, and Saudi Arabia are NOT on the Committee. They have not even ratified the treaty that creates the Committee because it is a bastion for democracy, civil and political rights around the world.

The Human Rights Committee (unlike the Commission or now the Council), is made up of independent experts, not political representatives.

Please don’t confuse this valuable Committee with other discredited UN institutions.
