Annan’s Claims On Casualties May Unravel

An apparent discrepancy in the portrayal of events surrounding the deaths of four unarmed U.N. observers in Lebanon threatens to unravel Secretary-General Annan’s initial accusation that Israel “deliberately” targeted the U.N. Interim Force in Lebanon.

A Canadian U.N. observer, one of four killed at a UNIFIL position near the southern Lebanese town of Khiyam on Tuesday, sent an e-mail to his former commander, a Canadian retired major-general, Lewis MacKenzie, in which he wrote that Hezbollah fighters were “all over” the U.N. position, Mr. MacKenzie said. Hezbollah troops, not the United Nations, were Israel’s target, the deceased observer wrote.

This is also interesting. I wonder how much press this will get? I found this video thanks to Fausta’s Blog. Can someone explain what is going on here to me? Oh, Michelle Malkin explains in a column she wrote in 2002.

Meanwhile, Democrats are trying to stop the confirmation of one of the only effective ambassadors to the U.N. we’ve ever had, John Bolton.

The UN and Annan have lost all credibility as an objective organization.

Several prominent Democrats are trying hard to block the reappointment of John Bolton as ambassador.

Bolton appears to be one of the few ambassadors willing to provide honest feedback to the United Nations organization, something that Annan and the rest of the dhimmis apologist and appeasing yahoos so desperately need,.

And to think that the Dems, liberals, and leftists on the other side of the aisle are going to make it difficult for Bolton’s official appointment. It does not make any sense to me.

They (Democrats, liberals and leftists) continue to have conniptions about Bolton’s blunt honesty. They claim that Bolton is loose cannon and is somehow irrational and inappropriate, something that I have not seen.
The Democrats hatred of President Bush outweigh their common sense.

Annan and his yahoos incompetence and their support of terrorism and dislike for the State of Israel really shows.

I paint the democrats and the UN with the same paintbrush. Both lack credibility.

The UN is good for three things: Oil for food scandals, gang rape in third world countries, and protecting terrorists.

The UN is the most useless organization in the world.

    GET U.S. OUT OF U.N.
