The First Amendment clearly says nothing that eliminates religious influence on government and yet a law was passed in the 50's or 60's that yanked the non profit status of religions that attempted to influence elections. That unconstitutional law is still standing despite Republican control of Congress. With that and other unconstitutional actions on behalf or the governments of the United States why are we surprised when they continue to violate our rights. Your post is very good.
