If Kerry were sorry, he would resign
UPDATE: The Senate votes 93-6 against retreating by Dec. 31, 2006. Kerry joined Boxer, Byrd, Feingold, Harkin and Kennedy in supporting this surrender to the late Abu al-Zarqawi.

I see Massachusetts is still a cut and run state. Massachusetts was the only state that supported anti war candidate George McGovern in the 1972 Presidential election. Despite the widespread support by the American people for the war, the government bowed to extremist and pulled out when Nixon betrayed those who voted for him. Bush has a lot less support behind him and that is why the anti war activist want to find grounds to impeach him.

[...] 93-6 was the final result of the vote, and only 6 Democrats had the cojones to vote for a troop pull-out. Those 6 Senators were Kerry, Feingold, Boxer, Byrd, Harkin, and Kennedy. All clout Byrd gained with me for voting against amnesty is gone, as he is now voting for surrender. Stop the ACLU brought us this story: The Senate rejected a call for the withdrawal of U.S. combat forces from Iraq by year’s end on Thursday as Congress erupted in impassioned, election-year debate over a conflict that now has claimed the lives of 2,500 American troops.
