You should read my comments again. I was highly skepticle of the claim that our soldiers beat Zaqawi from the beginning. I just try to remain unbiased.

	My point

Our soldiers like our citizens at home will commit murder. It is to be handled by the due process of law. The media blows it out of proportion to sell their own papers or political agenda.

	A related issue

Compare the total number of murders committed in the United States each year to the number of our troops killed in Iraq. The media barely mentions the former which is many times greater and dwells on the later. Our troops willingly put their life on the line to secure the rights of others and are media is constantly spinning their deaths and injuries to use against their efforts in life.

Give it up, Kerwin. Not everyone would die immediately from a bombing, although Zarqawi's particular brand of evil takes longer to snuff out.

	What's your point?

I heard from a pathologist on Fox that he most likely had internal lung damage from the air blast that accompanied the bomb explosions.

A beating would not cause the same kind of damage. Unless I hear more reliable evidence I will go with that.

	Amy Proctor,

We have and average of 5.5 murders per 100,000 people each year in the United States and I have not even heard that many dredged up by the MSM. Our soldiers are in a lot more adverse conditions than the average person on the street.

Stop the ACLU, you MUST be mistaken. We all know that the US military revels in human suffering, particularly with poor innocent terrorists. I mean, what had Zarqawi ever done to the US?

Kerwin, the anti-soldier propaganda is getting old. I've been an Army wife a soldier in infantry units for 13+ years now. He's been to war. I see up close and personal how the troops train and respond in combat. They don't beat up dying men, even if they are terrorists.

In Baghdad, my husband would visit some of the guys in the Combat Hospital and the medics frequently were treating, eh hem, insurgents and terrorists who just moments eariler wounded or killed US Soldiers. THAT is the kind of US military we have. We help our enemies despite themselves.

Out of curiosity how can you tell the difference between blunt force trauma delivered by a bomb blast and blunt force trauma delivered by a soldier. I doubt the soldiers beat him as he would have been a great source of intelligence and those were well trained soldiers.
