I wonder why the evil Christians didn't riot or kill anyone over this? Oh, sorry, that's the wrong religion.

There used to be a time that Christianity was respected, even if you didn't believe. Even the other religions and their leaders used to respect Christianity. But now you can put a crucifix in a jar of piss, call it art and get a U.S. govt grant for it.

But if you even utter anything negative about Mohammad or Allah you have a bounty on your head.

The difference? I believe that Christians have stopped and discouraged fighting for what they believe in and Islam allows the opposite. This will only cause the demise of Christianity and the intolerant religion of Islam will rule.

I honestly believe, that not too long ago, Christians around the world were respected a great deal, because they would stand up and fight for what they believed in. Then the atheists of the free world (like the ACLU) started chipping away at the religious freedoms, mainly targeting Christians, as the evil religion.

And with the anti-God/pro-suicide bombers media on their side, it looks like we're headed for an anti-Christian/pro-Islam world, if we're not already there.

The idioticy behind this astounds me. What does The Cross have to do with the ethical treatment of animals? What statement were these guys making, other than the need to reduce them all to soilent green?

I'm having a lot of trouble understanding what eating meat has to do with the crucifixion of Jesus Christ. But what do I know? I'm just a member of the vast right wing consipracy who has no compassion for my fellow man, I said we should send all those mexicans right back home. Then build an electric fence around the border. That should keep them from crossing. (the fence should also go at least 20 feet under ground, but we can't let that be known.)

Captain Rational,

If you really want to know what a moonbat is, (that is after you are finished abusing your neighbor's barnyard animals, and assuming you don't get shot for it)point your Internet Browser here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moonbat

An enlightened liberal can be a good thing.

I think it would have been a perfect time to march along side them with demonstration signs that read something like:

"PETA's New Plan For Animals: First PETA Tried Slitting Animal's Throats And Disposing of Them In Garbage Dumpsters. Now, PETA Wants a Slow, Agonizing Death For Animals On A Cross, and Then Dispose of Their Carcasses In Garbage Dumpsters!"

Exposing the hypocrisy of these loons is what needs to happen every single time they make a public statement.

Good observation Gribbit. Catholics don't eat meat on Friday. The irony is that this group of idiots failed to take that into account. So, I guess in a way their attempt at blasphemy kind of back fired in their faces.

And they say God works in mysterious ways.

I think I'll go to the farm across from my house and punt a few chickens.

While I'm here, can someone explain the etymology of the word "moonbat"? I've seen it all over the 'Net. It's pretty obvious what it means to those who use it, but I can't figure out where it came from.

Funny thing is, Catholics don't eat meat on Fridays. Fish yes, meat no. That means Chicken, Beef, Pork, Lamb, Goat, Turkey, etc...

So why did they choose Good Friday for this protest? To pervert the image of the crucifixion and only to pervert that image.
