Iranian President Ahmadinejad tells Iranians in Mash-had, Iran on Monday:
“Pray and give thanks to this good news. The Almighty has arrived!”
“Tomorrow (Tuesday) Iranian people would get a very good news and they have to pray,” claims Iran’s mystical President Mahmoud Ahmadi Nezhad (Ahmadinejad).
Gateway Pundit points to this news.
Iranian President Ahmadinejad warned that there may be a big surprise tonight coming from Iran in a speech yesterday in the Iranian Khorasan Razavi province:
Speaking to families of martyrs and benevolent people in the holly city of Mash-had, the capital city of the north-eastern Khorasan Razavi province, the President said “after people heard the complete news, they must pray because time for thanksgiving (the Almighty) has arrived”, according to the official news agency IRNA.
Though Mr. Ahmadi Nezhad did not revealed the nature of that great news, but informed sources speculated that he might announce the completion by Iranian scientist of the full nuclear cycle by enriching uranium up to 3.5 per cent, which is the required level for non military purposes of nuclear energy.
Michelle Malkin points to this news:
Former Iranian President Hashemi Rafsanjani said Tuesday that Iran has enriched uranium using 164 centrifuges, a major development in nuclear fuel cycle technology, news agencies reported.
Rafsanjani made the comment to the Kuwait News Agency during an interview in Tehran.“Iran has put into operation the first unit of 164 centrifuges, has injected (uranium gas) and reached industrial production,” the Kuwait News Agency quoted Rafsanjani as saying.
So, what to do? Mark Steyn has an excellent article on just that.
In other disturbing news on Iran, Atlass Shrugs reports:
Iran, the worst violator of human rights, is up for a seat on the “new” (sounds old – very, very old) Human abuse Rights Council. This is beyond the pale.
Iran has put itself forward as a candidate for a seat on the new United Nations Human Rights Council in its inaugural election of forty-seven members scheduled for May 9th. Insiders believe that Iran will be voted in by the General Assembly, because it is grouped with the Asian bloc of nations that are allotted thirteen seats on the forty-seven seat Council. Story here
Atlass Shrugs has a disturbing series of photos highlighting Iran’s “Human Rights”.
Both of these developments are quite disturbing and scary. The clock is ticking….whats your plan liberals?
