Commie Teacher, Jay Bennish Reinstated

Posted on March 10, 2006

FoxNews.com is reporting breaking news that Jay Bennish is being reinstated.

A teacher who was placed on leave after comparing President Bush’s State of the Union address to speeches by Adolf Hitler has been reinstated, school officials said Friday.

Social studies teacher Jay Bennish had been on paid leave from Overland High School in suburban Aurora since March 1 while administrators determined whether he violated a district rule that teachers must present balancing viewpoints in the classroom.

This just proves that those educators in the state of Colorado put their politics before the proper education of those in their charge. Last year it was Ward Churchill and now this POS.

It is time that we over whelm the email box of the Principal again. She needs to get the picture that by permitting this ideologue to teach in that school, she is condoning personal politics to trump education.

The dominant factor in this case is the threatened lawsuit by his ACLU attorney. This has nothing to do with freedom of speech. If he wants to go to DC and camp outside of the White House and picket and shout his insanities at the top of his lungs until he gets horse, that’s fine. That’s free speech. But he is a teacher who has been charged to teach facts not to indoctrinate those in his charge thereby increasing the pool of ignorant liberal youth.

Just keep in mind that those who major in education in college, often times come from the bottom 3rd of the academic roles. And it is these under achievers who teach your children. This fact plays into the old saying, “Those who can, do; those who can’t, teach.”

Think about it, the dumbest 3rd of academia is teaching your kids. Are you comfortable with that?

Based on this decision, I believe a teacher should be able to preach religion in the classroom. If a teacher is allowed to indoctrinate students against America (treason), then why can’t teachers preach religion?

NOTE: I don’t really think teachers should be able to do this. Just showing how brainless this decision really was.

Bennish is the poster boy for the urgency of school vouchers.

For now, the least we can do is write:

Can’t we find a lawyer somewhere to sue on behalf of parents?

The Bennish example needs to be kept fully in the spotlight until parents realize what’s being done to their children in public schools.

Excellent point. It’s funny how freedom of speech only pertains to certain types of speech.

Here’s another example of “selective” freedom of speech protection. I bet if the banner were to say something like “snort a line of cocaine for Allah”, freedom of speech would not apply here. But once again it’s ok to say ANYTHING about Jesus Christ, whether or not it’s “offensive” to Christians.

No matter. Christians won’t riot or start chopping heads off so say what you will… Just don’t take our freedoms away…

The liberal academic unions insist that Academic freedom is the freedom to teach the subject you are paid to teach by the government according to your own point of view. The fact that minors with developing minds are especially vulnerable to such propaganda has nothing to do with it. I guess we will find out if the parents of Colorado love their children more than they fear the government. I am afraid they will cave and allow the liberal establishment to continue to mess with their childrens minds
