The ACLU, like the SCOTUS, are aware that they can antagonize any part of the "crocodile" they want to, but to mess with the teeth has painful consequences. Most gun owners and 2nd amendment advocates can clearly see that were the ACLU able to find a way, they would pervert the 2nd amendment as ruthlessly and incessantly as they do the rest of the "Bill of rights." The ACLU, SCOTUS and every right-minded politician know that it is a volatile issue, with great ramifications, if you are on the wrong side. For me to support the NRA, GOA or any other 2nd amendment group AND a group who would most definitely oppose "individual rights" concerning the 2nd amendment, is contradictory, double-minded and asinine, IMO. “the ACLU doesn’t concern itself with gun rights.”

I probably should have said this more clearly the first time. You’re right that the ACLU doesn’t concern itself with gun rights.
