Abu Ghraib Part II

Posted on February 15, 2006

It may be the photos that America doesn’t want to be seen, but that doesn’t stop the MSM from showing them. It looks like more photos of the same incident, yet the media are immediately publishing them, and the ACLU are excited! As a matter of fact, we can thank them for the new release. Neither the ACLU or the MSM are concerned with any consequences from the release. Move along folks, its nothing you haven’t seen before…just some guys with panties on their heads…again.

The photos were obtained under freedom of information laws by the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) and broadcast on the Australian documentary programme Dateline.

“The photographs have to be released so the public have some idea of what happened at Abu Ghraib,” ACLU lawyer Amrit Singh told SBS on the programme.

“It is for the public to decide on looking at them what needs to be done.”

The public has seen enough, and while a simple description of the photos could have been satisfactory to the court of public opinion, the international media decided that graphic photos should be released instead. And the “hate America groups” are eating it up!
The first time was a shock, and the media ran the photos in headlines for over 300 straight days. We have to point out the hypocrisy, and the major difference in the MSM’s behavior towards these photos in comparision to the Danish cartoons of Mohammad.

Tim Blair is on the same page.

“They won’t publish cartoons, but they will run anything they can get out of Abu Ghraib. Both sets of images provoke Islamic anger; note how the media behaves when that anger is directed at them.”

If you really want to, you can see them all here.
Michelle Malkin has more media hypocrisy. And now, she ask the question too. Meanwhile, the non-news item of Cheney’s hunting accident seems to dominate.
Rhiel World View has a must read post on this.

Typical MSM & ACLU response. Debase America all you can, because, America is a just and decent country and won’t arrest or blow you up. But, when the radical Muslims threaten over cartoons, MSM & ACLU run and hide because they are neither just nor decent, and they will blow up or behead a reporter when they get a chance. What’s stopping them from doing that to all reporters, etc.? Why its the brave and loyal US military protecting their rights to be biased and cowardly.

Amazing trash you rabid righties continue to spew against the ACLU!

From today’s press release by the ACLU:
“The ACLU’s lawsuit on the release of photos is now before the Second Circuit Court of Appeals. Oral arguments have not yet been scheduled. The Defense Department has agreed to finish processing all remaining documents relating to detainee abuse, including images depicting abuse at facilities other than Abu Ghraib, by June 15.”

The pictures released by SBS could not have come from the ACLU or any of its co-litigants (”The FOIA lawsuit was filed by the ACLU and the New York Civil Liberties Union on behalf of the Center for Constitutional Rights, Physicians for Human Rights, Veterans for Common Sense and Veterans for Peace. In addition to Singh, attorneys in the case are Lawrence Lustberg and Megan Lewis of the New Jersey-based law firm Gibbons, Del Deo, Dolan, Griffinger & Vecchione, P.C.; Jameel Jaffer and Judy Rabinovitz of the ACLU; Arthur N. Eisenberg and Beth Haroules of the NYCLU; and Barbara Olshansky of the Center for Constitutional Rights.”), since the Defense Department is still refusing to release them!

Keep ranting, like mad loons on a midnight bayou.

Yes, call us Nazis because your country has neither the balls nor the might to stand up against evil. Degrade us to relieve yourself of the feeling on inadequacy.

I refer you to Gary Johnson’s final speech in Team America: World Police. So are you an A– or a P—–?

the major news outlets decry cartoons, but throw fuel on the fire with old news. yes it is important to resolve abuses in the military, but the story is old, people have been tried and convicted, fired, investigations, etc. What else could be the point? Except perhaps seeing the picture of Moslems burning Ronald McDonald that reminded them how much they hate America…
