Lately, as the ACLU is laying low, I have been focusing on other issues that concern me. This video, and exchange is very chilling, and insightful into the way Iran is prepping their troops for war, and their views on freedom of speech. This is the response they are firing up and enraging Muslims with over the cartoon controversy.
Ali Khamenei: The freedom of speech about which the [Westerners] talk so much does not permit anyone to doubt the myth about the massacre of the Jews, known as the Holocaust. There is no room for freedom of speech there.
In the European countries, many people – including scientists, researchers, historians, and journalists – are so afraid that they do not dare to express the doubt in their hearts about this issue. Some of them even believe that this issue is an outright lie. They do not dare to say so, because they have seen that anyone who says so is punished, imprisoned, persecuted, and deprived of his rights. At that point, freedom of speech no longer applies. Yet, offending what is holy to one and a half billion Muslims for no reason, without one party having insulted the other – this is permitted. This is classified as freedom of speech.
This is not about the journalist or cartoonist, who was paid by the Zionists to draw this cartoon in order to serve their impure purposes. The problem is that the European Leaders defend this act. They stand behind this vile and stupid act, and consider it to be legitimate and permit is as freedom of speech. That’s what this is about.
I assume that a profound Zionist plot is at the core of the matter. They are setting the Muslims and Christians against one another. This is very important for the Zionists – to set the great Muslim community around the world against the Christians, and to set the Christians against the Muslims. That’s what this is about. This is the handiwork of the Zionists. Full Transcript
How will America respond to this? Lets hope it isn’t like the cartoon below.

From Cox and Forkum
Sadly, it looks like this is America’s answer. At least in Illinois.
CHAMPAIGN, Ill. — Two editors at the University of Illinois student-run newspaper were suspended Tuesday for their decision to run a series of cartoons that have sparked outrage and violence around the Islamic world.
Editor-in-chief Acton H. Gorton said the Daily Illini’s publisher suspended him and the newspaper’s opinions sections editor, Charles Prochaska, for two weeks pending the outcome of an internal investigation. “I’m very disappointed. I think this is nothing more than a cover-up,” Gorton said.Daily Illini managing editor Shira Weissman would not comment on the situation Tuesday. A telephone message left with the newspaper’s publisher, Mary Cory, was not immediately returned. The paper’s editorial staff told readers in Monday’s editions that the decision to run the cartoons was made by Gorton and Prochaska without their knowledge.
While the staff apologized to the Muslim community, it stopped short of saying it disagreed with the decision. “We want to make it clear that while we do not necessarily disagree with the decision to print these cartoons, we disagree with how they were run,” the editorial reads.
Michelle Malkin asks, where is the ACLU? Good question, they are busy defending terrorist.
Michelle Malkin has more on the freedom of speech issue dealing with the cartoons. Will it be WWIII soon? The riots continue in Iran, no doubt speeches like this fuel the molotov cocktails.

We have taken our freedoms for granted. Americans, especially journalists and media types, have succumbed to political correctness to a point that if it can even be perceived as offensive they will not air it. Freedom of speech is stifled on campus in universities.
There is a positive aspect to the cartoon issue. It demonstrates that our system works. We are still the model of the whole world, even with political correctness. Now is the time to kill political correctness and go back to total freedom of speech.
I do hate to admit it, but in a weird way Ali Khamenei is correct in a sense. Our MSM censors itself all the time because bashing Bush and following the PC line is more important than the news or freedom of speech. Good news reflecting well on America or the White House is not shown at all (100% self censorship) or twisted to support the radical left (biased news and partial selfcensorship).
Now please don’t misinterpret my comments, they are critical of our MSM, they are not supportive of the Muslim terrorists in any way.
I’m afraid we are already in World War III. The problem is that the ‘left’ in the USA don’t realize it yet. You can be sure the Islamomaniacs (as Conservative Outpost calls them) already know World War III is in full swing and they intend to win. We can’t let that happen. And by the way, if Islam does win the ACLU will have played a big part in helping them.
Debbie: Yes, WWIII is upon us.
Small consolation to an event as horrible as the end of Western Civilization, but should it ever happen, the ACLU will be the first to be executed by the radical Muslims. The radical Muslims, at least, are smart enough to understand treason and hatred. They will use the useful idiots as long as profitable then execute them in a New Mecca minute.
You pretend to support free speech, yet just two weeks ago you advocated violence against a 13-year-old boy who refused to salute the flag. How are you any better than those who respond to cartoons with threats of violence?
