In fact, I completely agree with Senator Landrieu (D-LA) that the Senate has more important things to tend to, like Hurricane Recovery. The filubster is a waste of time and the constituents of those senators supporting a filibuster need to let them know they want an answer. It's time for a vote - no more games! Perhaps they should listen to their fellow Democrat senators who are saying this is not a good idea. If the Democrats have not already shown us that they have no shame or decency, they should really be allowed to make a public spectacle out of themselves. They just do not get it. A party that is just so poll driven has absolutely ignored poll after poll that showed the people's disgust over their treatment of Alito. Let the bread and circuses begin. Left them finish themselves off by making total buffons of themselves. Let the whole world see how petty, mean, and ridiculous they are. Let them see the future presidential candidate, Clinton, show her true colors; spite. I can see the color red in all fifty states. I too am for the filibuster for the same reasons.
