We have to restore the Balance of Powers iterated in the Constitution. The legislature has become more powerful than the Executive Branch and is fearful that a tilt to the right will restore the balance.

I for one, welcome this. The Executive branch is hamstringed from performing its duties due to the overbearing conduct of the legislature.

It is time to restore balance in our government and if it takes the Judiciary to do it, so be it.

You said, "Running into court to impose radically new social and legal norms is the refuge of those who wish to impose tyranny." I say, this is the truth. Take care.

This is something I've been concerned about for a while. With the ACLU trying to take my right to place a cross somewhere or bow my head because it might offend someone when we have complete idiots that...it seems have never read the Constitution, I wonder which is worse...the 9 we have on the bench that feel they can change the law with a stroke of their gavel, or King George back in 1776.
