Liberals of the past had the audacity to create the precedent of hijacking "advise and consent". That at least took initiative and chicanery. These guys today simply regurgitate whatever liberal interest groups tell them to spew at a respected and accomplished nominee and hold up the process for the sake of being an obstruction.Bork at least had a fighting chance. Fortunately, I think Alito will be confirmed based on his qualifications, but watch out should the Senate balance tip in 2006.
