The only "balance of power" the ACLU is more concerned with is taking ours and giving it away to terrorists and sex offenders. Judge Alito will become a great weapon in the battle vs. the ACLU.

I am sure the ACLU would be as equally concerned about the "balance of power" in the Supreme Court if tipped too far to the left. Yea right!

The people of the United States have allowed 6 individual anarchists to get on the court and the ACLU finds the environment created by this as healthy to their agenda. They are only worried that the court will be swayed away from their agenda. Alitto looks to be honest but looks have been deceptive in the past. We need to seriously consider pressuring Congress to get radical Federal judges off the high court and minimize the radicals on the lower courts. Only then do we have a chance to have our true civil liberties protected instead of stolen.

The real danger is that the ACLU was allowed to weigh in on the decision making process and a few of the Senators will take their opinion seriously.

	This organization is too dangerous and their agenda runs contrary to civil liberties and common sense; horse sense, what horses possess that keep them from betting on humans..

Obviously all those Chrismas cards sent to the ACLU did not convey the subliminal message. Too bad a "Welcome to 2002" New Year card mailing wasn't orchestrated THIS month 2005.

	On second thought -- I'm not sure they would get that message, either.

	What's the likelihood of Hallmark or American Greeting Cards sponsoring a National "Get a Clue ACLU" Day????

	:::shaking head:::
