Sure are a lot of cowards around.

Glad to see the ACLU standing up to protect the Constitution, while others are pissing in their pants, ready to throw away our liberty because they’re scared of a bunch of illiterate guys with box cutters.

If the terrorists want to come after me or my family or my town, I’ll defend myself. If I’m killed, I’ll hope someone will avenge me better than Bush has done (Bin Laden, anyone?)

But I’ll die before I surrender the part of our great nation that makes us better than the rest. Sure, freedom is hard. It means that the police and the CIA and the NSA have to work harder because they have to work within the limits of the constitution. But I believe we’re good enough to prevail AND keep our Constitution.

?Because of the nature of their calls and e-mails, they believe their communications are being intercepted by the NSA under the spying program.?

Rich, I am not against dissent. The ACLU is. It is one of the most Anti-American groups in this nation. According to you, they protect freedom. Freedom of religion? Freedom of pedophelia? Freedom of terrorism as a political expression? Freedom of children versus parental authority? Freedom of education?

In case after case that they ahve filed, they have promoted a chilling effect on freedom or they have promoted total freedom with no restraint.

Freedom and liberty coincide with responsibility and restraint, thus the need for laws in an orderly society. The ACLU represents anarchy.
