Stanley “Tookie” Williams Denied Clemency

Stanley “Tookie” Williams, co-founder of the Crips street gang, has been denied clemency by California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger.

He is scheduled to be put to death after midnight for the murders of four people.

Several high profile entertainers have been among those trying to secure clemency for Williams, claiming that he has become a changed man in prison and has worked to stop children from joining street gangs. Williams has also been nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize.

This writer says good riddance. Williams has had over 25 more years of living than his victims.

Now the question is, will there be any repercussions from the various factions of Crip gangs over the execution of Williams?

I am generally against the death penalty as a Catholic, but since the lefties have made such a racket about this ‘Tookie’ character, im starting to find humor in this situation. I mean, this guy was a murder and the founder of the Crips! Am I going to hell?
