Good news! A friend of mine who works on the Hill says the House is preparing a Christmas Protection Act to shield employers and towns from being sued over Christmas displays. This is very preliminary and, at best, third-hand, but I'm hopeful about this.

"And to quote your well informed and oh so eloquent site, “…remember kids freedom of speach is what it’s all about.” Unless you’re one of those dirty warmongerring conservatives who don’t think that men should have sex with little boys."
That's a really good point. Why is it that liberals can say any nasty thing they want, and hide behind free speech, but when someone offers a dissenting viewpoint, they get vilified? It's as though the prevailing attitude is, "You have freedom of speech -- as long as you're saying the same things we are."

Where would Jesus shop? Well, that's not exactly the question that is asked in the lastest WakeUpWalMart ad targeting Wal-Mart. It is, however, the one that is clearly implied. Here's how the Marcus Kabel of the AP describes the ad:...

With respect to your perfectly awful blog I'm reminded of the words of Marcus Aurelius, who said to always honor the human faculty which produces opinions, proving once and for all that he never met you.

Good luck in the voting, though!
