public prayer and government prayer are two different things
people can pray to whoever they want to in public
its the governments endorsement of one religion over another in a multi faith society which is the problem

the reason why there is no mention of the church in the constitution proves my point
it was already seperate from the beginning

the governmental endorsement of one faith excludes others
you'd be singing a different tune if it were scientology or mormonism instead of christianity

	now go read a book
	one with pictures

Okay CommieRebel, show me separation of church and state in the Constitution. And if you're so keen on freedom of speech and religion, than you should tell your ACLU buddies that the only way to violate the establishment clause is to write religion into law, and then explain to me how public prayer would violate it?
