Zarqawi May Be Dead
Posted on November 20, 2005
The Elaph Arab media website reported on Sunday that Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, the head of the al-Qaida in Iraq terror group, may have been killed in Iraq on Sunday afternoon when eight terrorists blew themselves up in the northern Iraqi city of Mosul.
The unconfirmed report claimed that the explosions occurred while coalition forces surrounded the house in which al-Zarqawi was hiding. American and Iraqi forces are looking into the report.
DEBKA
A sample of his DNA is in American possession for a match-up.The bodies they are trying to identify are of 7 men and one woman, who blew themselves up Sunday, Nov. 20, after their hideout in northern Iraq was laid to siege by a large US force, backed by tanks and helicopters. The bodies are burned black and unrecognizable. Four Iraqi security officers were killed and 10 injured in the operation. Eleven US troops were wounded.
I’ve heard this rumor too many times to get excited, but I’ll keep you guys informed as we learn more.
Generation Why?
I bet Democrats are already caucusing on who will get to speak at the funeral of this poor freedom fighter killed by an illegal and unjust war.
Surely they know better than that, however, if this report turns out to be confirmed, it will not be long before you hear the rhetoric that we haven’t caught Osama because we turned our attention to Iraq crap begin. I can hear it now. They will say, it is a good thing that we got Zarqawi, but if we would have kept our eye on the ball, we could have possibly had Osama by now. I can hear Chris Matthew’s slimy voice now.
North American Patriot has done the dirty work of trudging through KOS and Democratic Underground. It is just what you would expect, looniness, conspiracy theories that he doesn’t even exist, etc.
Am I rejoicing in the suspected death of a fellow human being, you sneeringly ask? Nope, I smilingly answer. I am noting, with relish, the reported squashing of a bug – a child-murdering bipedal cockroach who has gone lamentably unsquashed for far too long. If it’s true, then fine; let’s not waste any time celebrating. Tick the box, cut a cheque (and a big, fat Bravo-Zulu) to the boys who nabbed him, and move on to the next bug on the list.
The wheels of American justice may grind slow, amigos, but in the capable hands of the US Armed Forces, they grind exceeding fine.
I feel the same way. But don’t get your hopes up, the White House is saying it is highly unlikely Zarqawi was among the dead.

Please, Lord, let it be true. Its’ only a matter of time…..
HOOAH!
(and rot in Hell as Jordanians wish), Zarqawi!
Keep spreading the word that Zarqawi is dead…go ahead and spread the word. Then his sorry stinky rear may show up on Aljaeera network to show the world that he is alive…so go ahead and spread the word…Zarqawi is dead…Zarqawi is dead…Zarqawi is dead…
Eight terrorists killed? I thought only Americans were killed in Iraq! Are these the first terrorists killed so far?
If this turns out to be true, it will be a serious blow to the left’s efforts to sabotage the fight against terror. Regardless of whether the war in Iraq was directly connected to 9-11, the death of Bin Laden’s Iraqi leader will prove to be a turning point in Bush’s foreign policy efforts abroad, it seems to me. All that’s left is killing that bastard Bin Laden.
…Zarqawi is dead…Zarqawi is dead…Zarqawi is dead…
May God bless America!
