NBC To Portray Minute Men as Murderers

This just in. NBC, America’s favorite destination for liberal weenieness will be airing an episode of “Law And Order” tonight that features killer Minutemen.
So, is NBC accusing the Minute Men of murder? WND reports:
That’s the charge of the group’s president, Chris Simcox, who points to a commercial for tonight’s “Law and Order” episode dealing with illegal immigration. Simcox has sent a letter to NBC demanding the network “cease and desist” airing the promo.
According to Simcox’s Minuteman Civil Defense Corps, the promo includes the following verbiage:
ANNOUNCER: Wednesday, new “Law and Order” … 12 immigrants, cooked alive in a boiling hot truck.
CHARACTER: You classify that as something going down?ANNOUNCER: Was it murder? Or Minutemen protecting our borders?
CHARACTER: Nathaniel shouldn’t go to jail for protecting this country!
ANNOUNCER: The episode that will enrage America!
CHARACTER: You don’t know nothing!
ANNOUNCER: New “Law and Order,” Wednesday on NBC.
As the announcer delivers the Minutemen line, the word “Minutemen” is flashed on the screen.
A statement from the Minuteman organization says Simcox’s letter was faxed to the office of NBC President Jeffrey Zucker this morning after the legal department for NBC failed to respond.
Simcox also demanded NBC remove all mention of the Minutemen from the episode before it is aired at a later date and that NBC broadcast on its network an apology to the Minutemen as many times and in the same time slots as the promotions were aired.
“The Minuteman Civil Defense Corps Inc. and its sister organization, the Minuteman Project Inc., are the recognized founders and leaders of the civilian border watch and day labor site observation movement,” said Simcox in a statement. “The public and the media routinely refer to our members as ‘Minutemen’ and ‘Minuteman’ when talking about the issues of border security and illegal immigration.
“By publicly and repeatedly accusing the Minutemen of murder on its network, and by its promise to ‘enrage America,’ NBC is inciting the public, which will likely result in acts of violence against members of the Minutemen and their families.”
Of course this telivision show is fiction, but what it is attempting to do is pure propaganda. I say, don’t watch the show. I never have anyway, and will make it a point now to never do so.

I really think you need to watch. Take note of all the advertisers - and initiate a boycot of their products. Enough is enough. Time for Americans to stand up to these socialistic weenies.

My very smart wife made an interesting observation over dinner tonight. L&O claims to do stories ripped from the headlines. Where is the headline their working from here? When in fact illegal aliens account for a disproportional percentage of prison bunks and the Minutemen have never done anything remotely illegal.

I’m for the boycott of the advertisers. Make a list and get the word out. Write letters. And if I were one of the Minutemen, I would sue, sue sue.
If the LaO stories are “ripped from the headlines”, when are we going to see stories about illegals killing American citizens and American police?
Is there no depth to which NBC won’t sink?
It’s never silly to confront the meme being floated by this proposed episode of ‘Law & Order’, that is, the meme that the ‘Minuteman Project’ and its volunteers are ‘over-the-top’ vigilantes who are prone to ‘lose it’ and end up charged with the murder of some poor beknighted illegal immigrant who just happened to pay a coyote $5,000 US to smuggle him illegally across the U.S./Mexico border.
It’s never silly to confront the arrogance of writers in Hollywood (or New York) who would, rather than writing a story where a Minuteman volunteer ‘helped’ someone, instead chose to demonize the Minuteman volunteers through a ’story’ that plants the seed this leftist, ‘hate America first’ crowd in Hollywood is pushing; the agenda they have which is strongly allied today with International Communism which, itself, has allied itself with the jihadist movements around the world in order to leverage their opposition to all peace-loving and free-thinking people and the epitome of that is represented by George W. Bush. People who can still think for themselves instead of allowing an ‘elite’ to tell them what they should think scares this lefty crowd and they are in total opposition to any proof that freedom works and that initiative doesn’t hurt the community, it helps it, initiatives like The Minuteman Project, to protect the borders.

besides which, we all know the minutemen are too ineffectual to actually kill anyone!
On NBC’s E-Ring the episode was about white christians taking over a mosque of peaceful muslim americans. The leader was standing on a rigged explosive and the room was booby trapped…it was the russian school massacre exactly with the roles reveresed, could you imagine the outrage if they aired the show witht he muslims doing that to white christians?
Just out of curiosity, was your outrage this strong last night when Law & Order: SVU did a Terri Schiavo episode in which the “Michael Schiavo” character was a convicted rapist who removed the feeding tube so that his wife would never be able to testify against him and in order to collect the life insurance?

I remember that episode. Though the “villain” was indeed a black editor who murdered his son’s white girlfriend to hide the Jayson Blair lookalike’s mendacity and incompetence… ultimately, he was supposed to have been driven bonkers by patronizing “whitey”.

You have to be nuts to think this was based on the state assisted murder of Terri Schiavo. A L&O ep based on this would feature a heroic husband thwarting the plans of the victim’s evil family whose father abused her into a coma.

Susan Sarandon “face” of Revlon, and voice over for Stouffers (owned by Nestle) Robert Redford voice over for United Airlines…That American taxpayers bailed out….Georgle Clooney (see Ann Coulter) the list is tooooo huge…They get rich from corporations that they claim to hate. And, of course, laughing at redstate America to boot.
Just once I’d like to see a show where the Mexicans smuggled Muslim terrorist over the borders and tried to blow up a Christian Church. In the show someone would point out, “what were we expecting them to do, Muhammad was a freaking terrorist and his commands of murder are layed out in the Koran.”

MONEY means more than character and integrity these days and one’s politics really don’t matter.
There should be a one click email link that could in mass direct all complaints to not only NBC but all advertisers of these shows. This link would allow viewers such as myself the ease to complain and target not only the network but the advertisers without having to research each program individually.
