French Riots Continue Despite Curfews
Posted on November 8, 2005
As I predicted earlier threats of curfews are having little or no effect on on the rioters in france.
Per Reuters:
Ignoring the government’s threat of a curfew, youths rioted for a 12th successive night in France, torching more than 800 vehicles around the country and injuring four police, the Interior Ministry said on Tuesday.
Prime Minister Villepin tried to threaten the hoodlums with a stern warning, but a warning from a French Official carries about the same amount of weight as getting threatened with a ticket by a crossing guard. Howevere he did try to sound tough when he released this warning:
The renewed violence followed a warning by Prime Minister Dominique de Villepin that he would take a firm line against lawbreakers, including reinforcements for police and curfews not seen here since the Algerian war of 1954-1962.
Oh those French. Leave it to them to see this move of curfews for what they are….a money grab by the almost broke French government;
“Every time they announce more powers for mayors, they cut the funds,” complained Jean-Christophe Lagarde, mayor of the northeastern Paris suburb of Drancy.
But at least one French newpaper got it correct when it said:
“Chirac’s reign is a tragic farce,”
A spokesman for the French Government, Jean-Francois Cope, had this to say;
“The absolute priority is to show everyone that public authority must be re-established.”
When asked about bringing in the French Army, Chirac is quoted as saying;
“We have not reached that point.”
To both men I say good job. Re-establish authority. But don’t bring in the French Army, as they would likely surrender quicker than the French police.
I have an idea. You wanna see the streets of France get orderly and peaceful real quick?
Use a tried and true method.
Bring in the German Army.
Meanwhile French Officials Fiddle while France burns.
Update: State of Emergency Declared in France.
Michelle Malkin says The French solution is to pay off the rioters.

you might not be aware of that but the riots are spreading in Europe, they started in Berlin (germany) yesterday, and there doesn’t seem to be an easly way to stop the riots there either.
How long will it take for the French to get their heads out of their …. ????
This all goes to prove one thing. The degenerate Islamic animals are exposing themselves for the true savages they are, thus saving us further duress in telling the world what they really are and taking the flack for doing so. This is exactly what appeasement earned France, just like appeasement of Hitler did back in May of 1940.
If they send in the French Army, the only quetion will be, “WHO WILL SURRENDER FIRST?” The army or the rioters?
The Army without a doubt. The rioters are mostly kids of African origin…..you know, some of the very same people that chased france from algeria a few decades ago?
They wont send in the army, they`ll use the foreign legion, and those guys dont surrender. Im not a big fan of the french or their `social model` but using this as an excuse to bash the french seems a little rich `specially given the trouble your own countries in at the moment…
Yes Matt, I completely agree. The “American Model” has failed also, and the disaffected and destitute muslim youths marching in the streets of America should be mollified as soon as possible.
We in the U.S. should not take this opportunity to laugh at the failed policies of the lilypad, even though many of us have told them for quite a while now that they were fools for their policies of appeasement and that, in the end, they would be in more trouble following those policies than they would by being honest and putting their own safety above their pathological need to be loved as nice guys on the world stage.
So yeah, we shouldn’t laugh at them until the rioting muslim youths in the U.S are mollified….
Oh wait….
We don’t have any disaffected youths rioting in the U.S.
Alright boys, you heard Matt. We can laugh now.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAA
