What drives me nuts is that Christmas is being thrown around by the ACLU as this evil Christian agenda.

But Ramadan, that's o.k. It's fine to celebrate Kwanzaa, have a parade, but if we catch you singing,"Oh, come all yee faithfull," we'll sue you.

And, I'm an athiest. If it doesn't bother me, why does the ACLU hate it so much?

I watched that segment, and Alan Combs made the statement that the public should either endorse all religions or none. This is untrue. We do not need to appease anyone, and that includes agnostics, which despite what they believe, is a religion in itself, as it requires faith. There is no proof one way or another. The problem with this is that Christians do not usually know how to frame the debate on this one. (And I love Jesus btw) But the usual response from Christians is that this country was founded on Christianity and that is not true. Most of our founding fathers were deists, though they elude to the Christian God as their God. But our Constitution and our laws were not based soley on the Bible, but rather a gathering of peaceful religions. I only say this because the longer Christians spout this stuff the longer libs will have an argument. So I will now take that away: The U.S., though strongly principled in Christianity, was not founded on Christianity. But whether our laws are based on the Bible or not, our laws are laws, and all you libs out there love to jump on the bandwagon of the Anti-American Communist Lawyers Union of rewriting the Constitution. Separation of Church and State does not exist, nor is it protected by the Constitution. What is protected is the right to practice my religion wherever I choose, the Constitution, while not advocating or condoning a theocracy, or establishment of religion, clearly protects my rights to practice Christianity wherever I want. My rights are no where described as being forfeited when I enter a school, courtroom, or even the mall. And as a matter of fact, public schools have no business getting rid of the ten commandments or the Bible, as public schools themselves are one of the most un-Constitutional policies in this country. But this is the best the left can do, and that is why the right wins the elections and will continue to do so. Because attacking Christmas and the baby Jesus is all they got. They will never be trusted with this country fully since they have proven that they are unwilling to protect their own citizens. Despite the claims they make about the Iraqi war being unfounded, they have no proof. For all you idiots that keep screaming about the WMD's: if you want to find them search the bodies of all the millions of Iraqi's that were gassed with biological weapons. They'll be happy to tell you.
