And if someone's body is to be protected it is and must be that of the most vunerable of us- the unborn! There is no justice that does not give the father equal say in this decision to kill a part of his body also. The choice, if their be any, was made when they conceived the child! In regards to his decision on spousal consultation (if that's the right term for it), he dissented because in his view the requirement for the wifr to discuss the matter with her husband was constitutional- "I do not believe that Section 3209 has been shown to impose an undue burden as that term is used in the relevant Supreme Court opinions; I therefore apply the second prong of the two-part test; and I conclude that Section 3209 is constitutional because it is “rationally related” to a “legitimate” state interest." He seems to be exactly the sort of Supreme Justice that America needs right now. If only he'd been there when the Kelo decision came before them. Alito seems to be a good choice.
