Miers Withdrawal Reaction Open Trackbacks

Posted on October 27, 2005

A sigh of relief seems to describe it well. I’ll make just a few notes here. I hope the next nominee can reunite the conservative base, which was divided over this. Before people start blaming the conservative base, or taking credit, keep in mind, she withdrew her own name. I have neither a positive nor a negative reaction to this. I am hopeful however that the next nominee will recieve unified support for the base. It all depends on who Bush picks next.

Share you reaction with us! Here is how it works. Edit a post to include a link to this post, and send a trackback. No link to this post, and the trackback will be deleted.

I wish I could do the trackback thing, but I can’t! I can receive them, but Squarespace isn’t set up to give them.

Just goes to prove that if you are not an athiest do not attempt to be a judge. She would have made a fine justice, and I have nothing but contemp to anyone who was against her.

All you so-called “conservatives” surely know that they don’t come much more conservative than the Cato Institute, at least on fiscal policy. Well the Cato Institute has concluded that George W. Bush and the Republican Congressional Majority has been viciously screwing you, me and every other ordinary American. Don’t take my word for it, read the article yourself, if you have the stomach for it.
