Mayor Ray Nagin Runs For Reelection

Posted on October 17, 2005

Hat tip California Conservative
You’ve got to be kidding me! Mayor Ray Nagin is running for reelection!

“We’ve ACCOMPLISHED a great deal in the past TWO YEARS…we have put our house in order…so that we can set up the framework to KEEP MOVING FORWARD.”

– Mayor Ray Nagin

“When I ran for Mayor in 2002, it was with a promise to use the skills that I honed as a corporate CEO to turn New Orleans around. I’m pleased to report that the turn-around is in full effect: Jobs are up, overall crime is down, the city’s infrastructure is being rebuilt. We have attacked corruption and increased economic opportunities for all New Orleanians.”

So if you want more of the entitlement mentality, and absolute incompetence vote for Ray Nagin, you can always blame it on Bush if it doesn’t work out.

Bush must have encouraged him to run again. It is already Bush’s fault!
