Prostitutes More Important Than Troops?
Posted on October 1, 2005
Make sure to read someone’s comment where they refer to our military as facist.
WILMINGTON, Del. (WBOC/AP)- Civil liberty advocates are objecting to New Castle County’s new effort to fight prostitution: posting offenders’ names and photos on a Web site.
The new Web site features photos of convicted prostitutes and their clientele. The police say they hope it will discourage others from committing the same crimes.
But Delaware ACLU Executive Director Drew Fennell said public humiliation should not be used as a law enforcement tactic. He said the photos are degrading not only to the individual, but the person’s family, friends and employer.Source
Isn’t it strange they object to these photos being released to the public, but want to release photos that would endanger our troops? The ACLU loves to protect criminals, and when it comes to fueling the flames of jihad, you can always count on them to do their best.

Looks like the solution would be to convict the soldiers who abuse prisoners.
Someone forgot to tell the ACLU that THAT’S THE POINT…
(That is, public humiliation as a method of crackdown.)
Um, I do believe that soldiers have been convicted. Lindy England just got sentenced this past week if memory serves me right. And others have already pleaded guilty and have been sentenced.
Releasing photos of Prostitutes and Johns who have been convicted of their crime is no different than releasing the Abu Ghraib photos. But the ACLU in their infinate ignorance can’t see that.
They cannot have it both ways.
By Western standards, of course, the abuse at Abu Ghraib was horrendous. Not so much for a former prisoner under Saddam. Read this horrifying account, and think about a guy being forced to listen to Christina Aguilara music.
And hello, Graner got 10 years in jail. Lynndie England got 3 years in jail. What else do you want?
Nobody talks about these animals throwing their feces at the guards–these people are ANIMALS! They treat their captors with contempt and are taught to complain about the treatment they receive!
I say lock ‘em up and throw away the key! At least they’re not on the battlefield killing American soldiers.
More of them should be introduced to Allah–since that is their wish.
i’m posing a serious question here.
If someone blew up an aclu building in the middle of the night and there were no casualties, would you care? And the person that did it, what would you consider them?
I had someone ask me this the other day at work, and I don’t yet have an answer.
Where’s the Line??? Let’s draw it now. This is how Roger Baldwin intends to push Communism in America.
moonbat monitor …
“If someone blew up an aclu building in the middle of the night and there were no casualties, would you care?”
Absolutely!
“And the person that did it, what would you consider them?”
Domestic terrorists!
Moonbat monitor, I most definitely would not advocate blowing up an ACLU building…as Lobo said, that would be no better than an Islamofacist. However, if we were to get everyone out of the building, and got out the bulldozers…
Without reading any replies, I can say to your post:
OUCH! The truth hurts! Wonderful post! I had never considered the comparison you offered.
You guys ROCK!
Arrests are a matter of public record, even if you are not guilty.
I should know, my life was almost ruined by an arrest and resulting publicity back in 79.
BTW, these prostitutes and johns are only charged at the time of these pictures, not conviced.

Read again, the pictures are of those CONVICTED.
