Bloggers Got Katrina Wrong
For the past week never have more blogs, columns and editorials been written about a subject and never have more been wrong, wrong, wrong. Let me disabuse people of a few things.

Katrina Timeline
A well done timeline of the disaster caused by hurricane Katrina done by Ron at the Right Wing NutHouse. Looks like he put a lot of effort into this. He's also asking for any updated info/corrections if anyone has them.

Hurricane Katrina: After-Action Report - Where were the breakdowns
Now that it seems everyone who is going to be rescued from New Orleans has been and the clean-up operation has begun, it's time for an after-action report on what is and what is not to blame. This is probably going to be my last and most complete post...

I cant find where to leave my comments on Katrina. So here they are: EVERYONE needs to stop pointin fingers and just get on with the clean up! Next is that the civilians need to realize that people are going to be coming from Iraq to help with this....if you start screamin at these guys who are pullin security....ya might be pickin up your teeth from a solid buttsroke to the face. and third is people need to be grateful for those who are coming to help. All I keep hearing is gripin about it on the news...but I only get limited due to being in Iraq. Otherwise GREAT WEBSITE!!!!!!!!! AND I want to help how ever I can to SHUT DOWN THE ACLU!

As alwyas you lead the way in blog land on all issues relevant. I have a personal attachment to this since I'm from N.o. I never thought that the Banana Republic Politics of my home could get as low as it has. Nagin and every elected official in that city before him is criminally negligent, so is Blanco. W should have Federalized the situation immediately. But in the end, the Corps of Engineers and the OMB need to be hauled in front of Congress and asked, 'Why has it taken you all so long to complete projects that are over 35 years old.' It won't happen. But what if?

Do you want to help victims of the hurricane in person, rather than sending money?

How bizzare is it that we're discussing who's responsible for Hurricane Katrina!! Um, God? Satan? Nature? Certainly not Pres. Bush. That's just a fact.

Unfortunately, the Democrats forced our hands to expose their lie that Bush and the War in Iraq is responsible for the terrible rescue in the first few days.

Dem. Gov. Blanco and the mayor of New Orleans are horrible leaders. They did a horrible job. Pres. Bush finally took matters into his own hands by sending my beloved 82nd into the state. Just like with Iraq, leave it to the 82nd to make it happen! They are an awesome bunch of soldiers.
